The US General Surgeon states that “Regular physical activity can help people with chronic, disabling conditions improve their stamina and muscle strength and can improve psychological well-being and quality of life by increasing the ability to perform activities of daily life.” It's best to talk with your health care provider before you begin a physical activity routine. Adults need at least: OR
30 minutes of moderate-intensity
aerobic activity at least 5 times every week and muscle-strengthening activities
on 2 or more days a week that work all major muscle groups
